Columbus Oncology Associates is continuing to put the safety of our patients and its employees first when it comes to COVID-19, which may require continued changes* to our visitor policies and healthcare services.
*We’ll post those changes here, as they become available.
While masks have been optional for most patients, staff, and visitors for some time, it may still be required for both employees and visitors based on specific situations, such as:
- When they are experiencing any respiratory symptoms,
- If/when your provider notes concern regarding your immune status
- If any patient/visitor requests one of our employees to mask
If you have a fever on the day of your appointment, in an effort to protect both you and others, we ask that you call in to our office as soon as possible, and ask to speak with your physician’s triage nurse.
We encourage all employees, patients, and visitors to do their part to reduce the spread of both COVID-19 and the Flu, by staying up-to-date on your vaccinations.
We do currently have Flu vaccines in stock for our patients. Most pharmacy clinics (ie, CVS, Walgreens) also have these, and the seasonal COVID-19 vaccine, as well.
